Action Music accepts cash, debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and money orders. We also accept cashier's checks, and personal checks, but funds must clear the bank before we will ship. We carefully pack and fully insure your instrument before shipping it
with UPS or your preferred carrier. Domestically, we ship using UPS; we can use FEDEX or USPS upon request. THE CUSTOMER IS
FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CLAIMS THAT OCCUR DURING
Shipping--International (including Canada)
Internationally, we use BAX Global. THE CUSTOMER IS FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CLAIMS THAT OCCUR DURING SHIPMENT. We will not understate values or ship instruments as "Gifts" to our overseas customers, so please don't ask. International customers are responsible for all customs duties, import taxes, V.A.T., etc. We reserve the right to refuse international shipments that we feel are of high risk (i.e., we don't ship to Indonesia or Nigeria).

If you are not satisfied with your online purchase, you have 48 hours
from the time you receive it to notify us about wanting to return the
item. YOU MUST CALL FIRST!
The customer is responsible for all fees related to the return
(shipping cost, insurance, etc.). Upon receiving the item in the same
condition as when we shipped it, Action Music will refund the purchase
price to the credit card that was originally charged (if applicable),
minus the original shipping cost and a 3% restocking fee.
We do not accept returns for items purchased in-store. We provide store credit ONLY, minus a 10% restocking fee. (back to top)
Action Music warranties all its instruments for 30 days from the date of purchase for playability and functionality. This is not a money-back warranty. Playability warranties are not offered on guitars purchased online and shipped from the store due to the possibility of changes in the instrument resulting from shipment. (back to top)
We love to trade.
For in-store trades, bring in the instrument(s) and if it is something we feel we can use, we will try to work out a deal that is mutually beneficial.
For Internet trades, we need to see jpegs and will give you a tentative value on the instrument if we feel it is something we can use. Once we agree on a preliminary value, you ship the instrument to us at your expense for a final evaluation. We try hard to give realistic evaluations so as not to waste your time or ours. Once we have received your trade and agreed on its value, we will ship our instrument to you and you will have 48-hour approval once you receive it. If you decide not to complete the transaction, you are responsible for all shipping charges involved to undo the deal. (back to top)
Music offers a layaway option on any item in the store with a 20%
deposit of the total cost of the item (excluding tax and/or shipping).
Layaways are for six weeks from the date of first deposit. The customer
is responsible for making payments so that the balance is paid
off by the end of the six-week period. Any layaway not picked up and
paid off within the six weeks will be returned to the sales floor with
a 15% restocking fee on the total of the item (excluding tax and/or
Internet and mail-order layaways forfeit the 48-hour approval period. There are NO returns on Internet or mail-order layaways. (back to top)
Music issues gift certificates in any denomination. We supply gift
cards and envelopes. Gift certificates are good for one year from the
